Shank

Shanks is a very in depth writer who seems to in all his blogs write about every detail trying to make the reader more aware about what he is talking about. His websites and his blogs are both designed to match his personality. His website is where he displays his real life examples to his students, in a sense to give them a close up image of things that are going on, rather than just in a regular old classroom, lecturing about pictures or theories to hundreds of students. His blogs start with a question to make you think, and then he will get into his answer portion of his lectures. Every little detail is not left out of his lectures. He uses a lot of imagery as well as different links to videos and pictures, to help get across his points and also help the readers better understand what he is talking about. He posts a picture or a link for the readers to discuss and interpret, and then he writes his own interpretation on it. Shank offers many different views on how to look at a subject and is a "Picture Perfect" example of how a picture can be worth a thousand words. Shank's writing is illustrated in a form of academic inquiry. He analyzes and discusses his findings and he shows that he knows what he's talking about; but rather then having it all academic based, and having it all be professional, his writings are more friendly and easier to understand because they are blogs. He writings would probably be displayed different if he was writing a paper instead, but because this is a blog, it is meant for just brief explanations of opinions, information or arguments.
