Shanks

Michael Shanks presents his blogs in a "commercial" way. However, I still see them as being academic inquiry because he talks of his findings and his knowledge of what he does. His writting in the blog is professional yet laid back in a way that makes it friendly to read. If he were to write a research paper about the same information he writes about in his blog, it would be presented in a much more organized/professional way and may not be so easy on the reader. His website is professional to some extent but I also think it reflects his personality in a way. While reading it you can really understand his interest and passion in what he does which is pretty cool!
