okAY ANOTHER THING THAT IS HARDER THAN I THOUGHT, TITLE! OMG LIKE I FEEL LIKE ANY TITLE IS NOT WORTHY OF HOW MUCH TIME I HAVE SPENT ON THIS PAPER. any one!? help me with a title. my paper is the origins of matriarchy, patriarchy and matrilineal and patrilineal....and what makes them tick in society... help!

I just uploaded all my work on d2l. I have the idea for my research analysis to say that for the presentation I wanted the paper to be crumpled up into a ball and then flattened back out for all the pages, cause that is seriously what i have done like 10 times. It would show all the hard work Ive really put into this paper. Ive carried it around with me to almost all of my other classes, adding stuff here and there. So i beleive that my paper that i should turn in SHOULDNT be all neat and just out of the printer because it has gone through so much traveling in my hands and in my backpack all the time, even all the people who have proof read it and all the emails it has gone through. EVEN THOUGH i feel like it shouldnt be all perfectly neatly printed out, i am going to do it anyway. HMM digity.

Missing the end

So I feel really bad, I missed our last day of classes, I woke up this morning in the worst pain my throat was literary on fire and enlarged, but I got to spend my morning in the ER fun NOT. But I've been working on my papers like crazy, and I really hope that I pass this class because I've spent this whole semester writing for this class. On another note I just submitted everything into the drop box on D2L I had 21 files which I think was great!!! Well I guess thats it...I need to get back to writing!!!!

today i am busy. i have a meeting with my advisor today at 2:30, english and a&p lecture are cancelled but joy i have an out of class assignment to do in place of class. i have to work on both english essays, i need to schedule an appt to the Writing Center ASAP, i bet stuff is filling up. uhm confrences tomorrow so tonight i will go to town on connecting my sources, i worked on my works cited page, i hope i did it right. math quiz friday. i made my may calender today! alot of stuff to do, maybe i should stay home from mifflin and just get sh*t done. okay adios.

So, i still haven't decided a major, and i have no idea what i want to study and spend the rest of my life doing. I just scheduled my classes for next semester, and School feels like a waste of money right now. I am taking the most random classes, and i guess getting my GED's, but it just feels like such a time waster because i don't know what i want to study.

While we didn't have class I actually had a productive day. I went to Chemistry lecture and got an extra point on my 3rd exam, which brings my grade up to a 40 out 44. I got two Chemistry assignments done for tomorrows discussion. I did two ethnics journals, which took like 2 hours. I revised my research paper, reflective essay, and participated in the class blog! And now I am trying to make way on some Psychology. I fooking hate Psychology!!!!

Tomorrow I am going to be at it again. I need to get up at 7 and start Psychology again until 10 when my English conference starts. Hopefully I get feedback from Adam saying that I either met the course goals or that I have very little left to do in order to pass or receive a good great on my final research paper.

LOOKING FORWARD TO SUMMERRRRRRRRRRRRRR

i got a 100% on my first a&p lab practical and now i got a 102% on my second lab practical. i'll call it a DAY! DOES EVERYONE KNOW HOW HARD AND TIME CONSUMING A&P IS? yup. anyway.. i love my paper, i need to work on connecting my resources more...and look over everything. i feel like im not behind which is good. im excited for summer. have you ever had KOPPS icecream, holy shit. soo good. any way.....uhm english...i dont really know what to say other then this class can be and was really frustrating at first but its over soon. hmmm.

revision

Yesterday I spent a massive amount of time revising my paper even though revision was not due. It occurred to me that we only have a few weeks left and I need to get going on really nailing my controlling purpose and connecting and analyzing my sources. In doing this I completely eliminated some sources that seemed useless. I deleted a lot of awkward paragraphs that threw off the direction of my paper. I focused on analyzing two things rather than a bunch of things. This made my paper flow better. I still need to do some work on my conclusion. Also I need to revise my research analysis essay.

Spring Break

This Spring Break is horrible, I NEVER EVER get sick, and what am i, SICK!
im sooo behind in all my classes, who knew that you could get behind from missing 3 days???!?!?!
jesus college. anyway my family is off in cancun right now, while i am at home, dying, okay not really but i am a mess. i messed up my foot ripsticking awhile back and now i can hardly walk on it. i ran into the wall awhile back while running away from someone. *you can laugh* and i have a huge bruise from that. but im so glad im home and im going to rest and take this nasty medicine. and hopefully do some homework. okay. hmm. spaghetti sounds good but idk

Moms blog vs Shanks

Upon entering the site, I felt like this was more of a blogging website then Shanks professional organized blog of thoughts. These blogs are completely different. I feel like Shanks was more thought provoking and mindful whereas in the blog about the mom being a mother was more like watching an episode of desperate housewives. the material issues with each blog differs. I had to look up what medium meant, but now i know its the means for storing information and communicating. The moms means seems to just get her boring everyday mom thoughts out on the internet. I believe the mom is using the internet for SHOWING and BROADCASTING rather then Shanks WANTING and showing new ideas. Also, they are set up completely different. Shank seems like Adam Andrews writing for our Emailed assignments, varies spaces, and thoughts flowing on the page in how to do our assignment to really get the best thoughts down. The mom's blog was like how the English 102 class blogs. Some are kind of interesting to read but most are just everyday things that every average teenager goes through- " im sooo hungover" " im sick of this class" " im lost" "i lost my phone but know i found it" "my boyfriend is immature" (me :) ) ha. I believe they both use images in hopes to make a person feel the way that they are feeling. One example of Shanks is a picture of a mask, he wants to show how interesting and enduring it is. Contrastingly, the mom shows a picture of her "turdball" (referring to her child). She wants people to see the screaming child that of course she will still love because "how can you not love em". I believe the blogs are too different to even be categorized as BLOGS. Like stated before, Shanks is interesting and academic whereas the mom's is feelings, emotion, and blabbering. I feel like the mom is using the internet to draw attention towards herself rather then the work (writing) she is producing. People won't take the mom's blog as seriously. The mom's writing cant even be categorized as academic writing. Yes, indeed she does bring new ideas to the topic but its not really academic. Its more just inquiry. Shanks takes other information and asks questions and dissects it. Analyzing each subject, some that might not be important that he makes important. Whereas the mom just believes all her writing is important so doesn't use other sources to be critical

Upon entering the website I was very impressed. This is a neatly set up website that is one persons organized thoughts. Everyone has feelings, thoughts, concepts, arguments. Creating a blog website that lets you remember every thought and have it written down for record was something I thought was quite neat. They material and how it is presented reminds me much of how Adam Andrew writes his emails for the class assignments. I don't believe that the internet affects his writing. It only makes it more interesting that he is sharing his views on cultural literacy, change, innovation, imagination, which are all interesting topics. Another Shanks trait, is sometimes he leaves just pictures as posts to and for his blog. This could mean that he was thinking about the meaning or depth of the picture or wanting to inspire someone else to blog or create! I as a reader just try to get a sense of what he is getting at. One cannot read this with a closed mind. Thoughts need to be flowing freely. He also provides background information like videos from youtube for readers to really get the jist of the topic.He is such a good writer that it seems as though it is not a blog you are reading. This is academic inquiry. In our english 102 blog i believe most of the submissions are not academic inquiry and the writing we do on their much differs from our academic inquiry papers. But the blog is useful for getting out aggression on frustration. But in a sense isnt academic inquiry the notion of "getting something out" on paper. Getting your feelings and thoughts across. So in a sense they are the same. It seems to reflect Shank as a person with his peaceful and meaningful pictures all throughout the website. You get a sense of peace and just a person trying to figure things out in this complex World. So i believe that is is both representing Shank as a person in a professional way.

i have been dating my boyfriend for the past two years... i live in milwaukee and he lives in la crosse, which is about four hours away. any way hes a dumb boy that is still a senior in hs and going NO WHERE with his life and last night i found pictures of him and this girl i haaate. i dont hate anyone except this girl and ive even punched her up side the head. so he went behind my back and hung out with her and took pictures of her hugging her, behind my back. now hes bum ass is too bumish to even be up at 10 am...i was out till 3am last night, you dont see me sleeping. anywho...here is a picture of the dumb B and my as of now boyfriend...

Sooo today for com 103 I need to give a 3-5 minute speech on a person that my audience will appreciate their contributions to society. If anyone has an good ideas, please let me know. I'm not supposed to do really obvious people like ghandi or martin luther king jr, but any idea would help.

I'm thinking of doing a research project on the Powers of Fish... i know it sounds weird but i was reading this article about a northwest african tribe (orango island) that the women always propose to the men. they do this by offering the man a plate of fish. orango island has low divorce rates.....i dont know where i should go with this one? please help and any suggestions????????????
