Spring Break(:

For the first time in a long time, I actually did something over spring break instead of just staying at home doing nothing. This time, I went to Chicago for three days with my friends, and it was fun! One of the main places that I wanted to visit was Chinatown, so we of course, went there! Now i can tell everyone that I've been there before(: I have never been out of Wisconsin before, besides going to Washington DC back in the eighth grade. So going to Chicago; I had to make it memorable! (: But now that I'm back in Milwaukee, I've been so tired and sleepy; the two-hour ride back gave me a headache; more like, I was car sick -___-" But I'll try to get back on my homework business as soon as possible.

bummed out;

So, i just finished commenting on 5 student's essays, and after reading theirs and comparing it to mine, HOLY ashdsjnjka; my paper looks like crap compared to theirs :|

But hey; it's only the first rough draft, so I'm not too worried ... for now that is.

UGH.

How are you supposed to write about something when you don't even have a specific research question to write about? This sucks! I mean, I kind of have an idea of what I want to write about, but at the same time, it's not getting me anywhere ! -___-"

So after thinking and thinking and THINKINGGGGGGGGGG about what I should write about, I've decided that I'm going to analyze information on how natural cures relate to the medicines we use today and how they might affect the way a person decides to spend their money in the future.

Sounds good? i hope so! Hopefully this research topic can get me to write 8 pages by monday!

making progress

Ok, so I went to the library and found some books on natural cures and culture. After thinking this over, I've decided that I'm just going to focus on natural cures and the way they affect the medicines we use today? O.o BUT since there's already information about this out there already, I dont know how i can produce new insight on this topic. I was thinking maybe I'll have to research the plants used in these natural healing processes to see what it is that makes them so unique and harmless to the human body? Well, since there's an assignment due tomorrow, I should begin working on my annotated bibliography. So far, its looking good (:

lost

I have no idea what i want to write about anymore. Im confused about my own topic -___-"

Research Topic;

Ok, so I kind of have an idea of what I want to research and write about, but I'm not sure how I can make it into academic inquiry material.

My possible research questions are mostly in "argumentative mode" which I know it's not supposed to be, but I'm hoping I can find a way to work around the topic that I have. Here's what I'm aiming towards:

The risks of taking medication or going under medical surgeries vs. The risks of going back and getting healed the "natural way" (meaning through herbs etc.)

I often find myself going off topic when I'm writing about this, because I'll start off talking about how herbs are good for you and blah blah blah, and that taking medicine is good too, BUT the only difference is that they aren't as healthy as the herbs since they contain some type of chemical or whatever in it. With that being said, I plan on using a Doctor's article as a source to demonstrate the effects of taking medication instead of going all natural.

So I'm really bored and this started bugging me....

...so like the argument for global warming is that we emit too muich CO2....right...like from our cars and shit....right? But when we exhale we emit....CO2 and water vapor(another greenhouse gas)....right? So how come we haven't blamed that on global warming? Like too many fat people huffing and puffing our atmosphere up with toxic gases...wouldn't 6 billion people exhaling and all the animals exhaling create more CO2 then our cars?

Grrr.

ok, sooo ... i guess we're supposed to be writing in here and at this point, i'm quite confused as to what I'm supposed to be doing. I mean, i have an idea of what i want to research, but then again; i don't know. -___-"
