I actually really enjoy reading a book and then being able to go see the movie. I think it's interesting to compare how I pictured the characters, scenes, and situations as I read the book but then to see how the movie director pictured it and put it all together. Was it similar to what I had pictured and thought? Plus, books make for good movies in my opinion and I love all of those books and movies! Except I can't comment on Nights in Roldanthe (?)
ReplyDeletei agree with books do make better movies, but will all movies become based off of books at some point?
ReplyDeleteWell Nicholas Sparks' books are great love stories and the majority of his stories turning into movies has pretty much been a success. He's a genius at coming up with love stories. Since Sparks' loves stories have been having such a success, movie makers know that people will expect it to be a good love story. Plus books are turned into movies all the time! Harry Potter, Twilight, many of Stephen King's books, The Lovely Bones, The Gossip Girl t.v. show began as a series of books first, The Lord of the Rings and so on.
ReplyDeleteMovies are usually made from scripts that people write or they are taken from books and turned into a screenplay.
