Confused

I want to do a topic that has to do with children with divorced parents and sports..and trying to bring the two together somehow, does this question sound good? Why do competitive sports affect children with divorced parents? is it just any easy answer question?

  1. I have a similar issue with my topic. I want to focus my paper on Adolecent depression, and i also wanted to include drug abuse with that.
My question would be, why are depressed adolecents more prone to drug and substance abuse? But what i am worried about is me including my own acedemic inquiry in that, because there is already so much information, and its a simple answer.

  2. I think that this might be great-- you could combine sources about divorce and sources about sports to make the analysis yourself. I recall seeing some sources about sports that talked about the breakdown of race and class in terms of participation in sports-- as well as some studies dissecting the psychological impact of "team" sports on vulnerable populations (like children of divorced parents). . . .

I think you can make that work. -Adam
