so were nearing the end of the semester and i am truly stressing over my paper and scrambling to get it done.

I'm spent

this week has been nothing but work, not fun at all. Exams plus my papers to write, it just sucks all around. i cant wait till my last final its going to be such a relief, my mind is burning out and its becoming more and more of a harder task to keep my mind focused when i should be getting my work done but my brain is just spent.

NFL Draft

some might complain on the pick the packers made, but i think its a solid choice and a needed pick. if you look back at last year, when Rogers was under pressure the packers had a hard time putting points on the board, but later in the year when he began go get more protection he was amazing. im looking forward to see how he progresses under our two all pro tackles. he was a solid safe pick. Another note, HOW ABOUT THEM BREWERS!!!!

i can honestly say that i shut down for the week, all want is the weekend to come. its going to be a good time to say the least, one i wont remember lol.

Another question, why is 4/20 the national smoking day, what is so significant about today? ive always wanted to know.

god i hate exams and hw, it feels like all i do is study, write and do hw for all my classes. i need a break!!! lol god

My Paper

Everything seems to be going better with my paper. These example essays are helping, but I always seem to forget something about one of the course goals. I finally got my paper back and I already know of some other sources that can give me a better idea of what I am trying to accomplish, so the length really isn't a concern because I have 11 pages right now and haven't even made corrections or input anything new. I am having problems with getting exactly what I am thinking about into the right words. I always find the words that sound similar to what I want to say, but it never is exactly what is in my head and that kind of frustrates me.

review

has anyone checked to see if their paper got peer reviewed over the weekend? Because i feel like alot of students will be left out and their paper will not get looked at. there is just too many papers on the list, i feel especially bad for the students who submitted theirs first because students are going to most likely review the papers that are on the earlier pages.

i would just like to say that March Madness is crazy this year!!!

finally done

i am also done with my 8 pages, it was a pain in the ass. but at least now i can relax and not have to worry about getting it all done tonight like my suite mate haha. it would have been a lot easier and more manageable to get done if we would have been assigned like 2 pages per time, not just 8 all at once. but its not up to me i just feel that would be better for the students because I'm sure half of the students put it off till today, i was one of them, and will finish their paper around 2 am tonight.

10 page requirement causes arthritis

I find it interesting that we are required a minimum of 10 pages for our final paper when many well known and documented scholarly sources found on JSTOR are less then 7. What happened to the importance of quality writing over quantity? I think students will be using fillers of useless writing in order to meet the 10 page requirement. Good luck to everyone. Someone should write their 10 pages on a cure for hand arthritis, because we're going to need it after the typing of our final drafts.

Assignment for Friday

Does anyone else have a hard time writing these smaller assignments? I guess by smaller assignments, I mean the ones leading up to our research paper, where we are analyzing and discussing our sources. I keep finding relevant information, but I don't know how to put it down on paper, explain it and discuss how it's going to be useful in my final paper. I have pages of notes and my articles printed out filled with highlighting and more notes, but I am having a hard time actually writing the paper. Any suggestions? Or similar concerns?
