Lost in Topic and Confuse...

So far, my paper has no more than two pages and I realize that the reason is because I am not too confident with my topic anymore. At first I was okay with it, but then everyone got me thinking too much about "writing inquiry" or "producing NEW knowledge"!! AND of course, that IS what we are suppmose to do, but then it's like, the meaning of those two concepts makes e more *confused* about what we're suppose to be doing in this class. Also, like what we were assigned to do, I found some sources that could possibly help me, but the fact that I've stepped a few steps back from my topic, I'm not too sure anymore. My conference is tomorrow, so I hope to get so MAJOR help on this! :/
